By Kimberley Jones, 6:31PM, Fri. Dec. 10, 2021
This week on The Austin Chronicle Show on KOOP Community Radio, reporter Brant Bingamon discusses the killing of Adil Dghoughi, an unarmed immigrant, in Caldwell County. Brant examined the case, and calls for justice, in this week’s issue.
In the second half of the show, Austin Powell discusses two 2021 releases from iconic Austin instrumental bands Explosions in the Sky and Balmorhea. (Read his feature interview here.) Due to rights issues, we’re unable to play songs in this rebroadcast; here are the links to the discussed songs so you can listen along.
Balmorhea, “Nos”
Explosions in the Sky, “Chisos”
Balmorhea, “The Myth”
Explosions in the Sky, “Woodpecker”
